Yesterday, I taught a class about citations. We did it with an iPad quiz and I tried to make it a discussion and not a lecture. It was frustrating. Most kids paid attention, one or two I lost completely.

However, after class, one boy came up to me and said “thank you. I learned a lot.”

I was floored. I had never heard a student say that. It is high praise. It made the entire lesson completely worthwhile.
