Doll Bones

I’m reading Doll Bones by Holly Black and I just needed to share the description of the librarian:

“She blinked owlishly behind her bright-green glasses. She was about his mother’s age, with short, curly, bright-pink hair.”

And “She didn’t look like any librarian he’d every seen before. In fact, she didn’t look like any adult he’d met before.”

Thank you, Holly Black.

P.S. Fantastic book, as always.

  1. I’m so glad to see a librarian described uniquely for once!
