Freshman Fifteens

I entered the Freshman Fifteens contest:
“We began the Freshmen in the Stacks initiative as a small thank you to school and public libraries, but the contest grew in such a beautiful way—into something much bigger than we’d ever imagined. Thanks to our friends at School Library Journal and at Capstone, we received well over a hundred applications, and the applications themselves…we were genuinely moved by the stories shared by librarians. Across the country, these library programs serve all kinds of teens, despite incredible obstacles.”

And I won one of the Book Club awards!

Each Book Club winning library will receive ten copies of their adopting author’s debut, plus a virtual visit, and more!

THANK YOU to Kim Savage, author of After the Woods! I can’t express enough thanks for hand-picking our library and I can’t wait to read your book!
